Don’t rain on my parade

I’m an anal person. Especially when it comes to things I buy. I always look for tiny faults that no one but me notices. Why do I bring this up? Because today I got my RUSSH magazine in the mail. Normally, the postman puts it on my door step so it doesn’t get damaged but for some reason this time he shoved it right into my tiny mailbox that’s made of METAL thus ripping the front cover and stratching the spine. For a person like me who is so OCD about these things I got so annoyed. I’m still very annoyed! I hope this is only a temporary occurance because of the postage strikes and that the lovely person who usually treats my mail with care comes back soon. They should give that nice man a raise and fire the other jerk.
Anyway on a more pleasanter note, I recieved the nicest Christmas gifts from Leanne yesterday in the mail (Which came in perfect condition, thank you nice postman). I looooooove this cover of i-D and my sister and I already devoured (well, mainly yours truly) most of the Koko Black chocolate! Thank you so much Leanne!
Sorry about the ugly bedsheets. My mum thought it’d be nice if she got my sister and I matching bed linen with, get this, BABY ANGELS all over them! I hate them so much, grr!
And finally some lovely things I’ve bought myself in the past few weeks! The Colonial Madness wedges I ordered from Urban Outfitters finally came and a new blazer I bought from General Pants. I know you can’t really see (but you can see a bit of my piggie PJ shorts from my aunt :P) but it’s a tame version of a leopard print jacket. I don’t really know how I feel about it at the moment because I don’t usually buy such bold prints – I mainly dress in neutral block colours but something just really made me want to buy it!

Haha, I’m totally anal about things like that as well! I haaate when paper – books, magazines, anything – gets tattered the slightest, and as a kid i really hated teachers who would pinch certificates with their thumb, leaving that half-moon fold… okay i sound worse than you. Anyway, those are really nice presents! And the wedges and jacket are both to die for :)
I’m usually just really anal about my books. One huge pet peeve of mine is when people who borrow my books make dog ears on the pristine pages! I mean come on, use a bookmark people! That’s what they were made for.
Too bad about your mutilated issue of RUSSH. All magazines that go through the mail should have a “FRAGILE: Handle with care” label on them. smh
Oh man, I totally understand how you feel! I pay attention to detail, and I hate it sooo much when I see small rips, damaged corners, folded pages, scratched surfaces, etc. and it tends to bother me for the longest time. Sorry about your magazine. :/

Sorry to hear about the stupid postman and his inability to consider a package which is larger than the mailbox to actually fit in it and as a result destroy your magazine. I think that has happened to me once or twice but fortunately it wasn’t as pretty as a magazine but it was still annoying nonetheless.
I’m so glad you like your present. I knew you would love the cover of this mag once I saw it and couldn’t refuse to buy it even though my little sister was trying to show me cheaper options which were just as pretty. But this cover stole the show! :D
Oooo I’m liking this new animal print fashion coming in, however I don’t think I’m too confident to wear it yet.
Oops forgot to say that I got my CG mascara at Priceline. My little sister had a voucher which took $5 off the price which was $18. I have yet to use it it seems I’m hearing good reviews all round :)
Aw, you should’ve gotten the cheaper options I bet I would’ve loved them as well. I bought you a sumthin’ sumthin’ too, hehe but I will be sending it off after Christmas because I’m very scared of the post atm.
I’ve tried so many mascara’s even Dior Show doens’t compare to Lashblast! When I use Dior after even one coat my eyelashes go all clumpy but the CG one fans them out perfectly~

I’ve been wanting those UO shoes forever! Are they comfy? I was going to buy them when they had their sale but…I’m a penny pincher.
I can’t think in any way how I would be anal. I’m a really messy/sloppy person. D:
