Pick me ups

Ne sois pas triste!

Feeling a bit on and off these past few days but here are things that always, without a doubt, make me feel better when I’m down in the dumps.

  1. Sleepless in Seattle: Hands down my favourite movie of all time. I know all the songs, scenes, lines, glances, clothes, setting! I loveeee it.
  2. Shoes.
  3. 90′s music. I’m currently listening to Britney’s oldies.
  4. The Office.
  5. Sniffing leather and nailpolish. Haha, really! The smell is intoxicating. But never a combination of the two, yuck.
  6. Reading RUSSH. I’m so happy I got a subscription this year.
  7. Driving for ages and ages and ages with the windows rolled all the way down blasting obnoxious music.
  8. Shopping.
  9. Carbs – donuts, croissants, cake, tarts. Hello obesity.
  10. Blogging – it’s a good stress reliever.

Rambling on and on

Blazer: Forever New, Top: Agent 99, Tights: Cotton on, Wedges: Chloe Sevingy x Opening Ceremony

HAHA. This is why I don’t like posting full body pics. Such yellow lighting. I cut off my head, I can’t be bothered tying my shoes and cleaning my room and finding a clean mirror, rolling up the sleeves evenly, blah blah. I am definitely not wearing tights as pants! My shirt is quite long so I don’t know why it looks like that. I don’t have a lovely DSLR or a lovely boyfriend to help me out LOL. BLAHHHHH BLAHHHHHH. I am so annoying.

My hair is too long. It’s gotten to the point where it looks like I have a block on my head. I remember cutting my hair like it was yesterday but actually it was back in May, which is kind of scary because what the hell happened to the year?! How come it’s gone by so fast but I digress it’s all grown back now to the length I had it back in May and then some. You all know I’m terrified of hairdressers. I hate them but now I am forced into a position where I have to cut it off or I’ll end up looking like a crazy bag lady. Pleaseeee, if you know any good, reliable hairdressers in Sydney let me know! Fluency in English is not imperative just as long as I can convey what I want. Also it’d be nice if it didn’t cost a bomb.

Anyway in other news, The Sartorialist is coming to Sydneeeeey! I’m so excited, I’m so excited, I’m so excited and I have one exam left next week which is French. Yes!! Je vais réussir mon examen !

RIP Daul Kim

Daul Kim (1989-2009)

It’s so sad. So, so sad and it was a shock but I think you could tell how sad she was. In her interview with RUSSH she was asked, “If you weren’t modelling, where would you like to be?” Her answer, “I would like to be in a happy place.” I hope you’ve found it Daul.

Busy busy!
